Cage's influential life and work continue to inspire so many people, and in so many ways. For me, he proves that telling personal stories about everyday life can communicate ideas, that the most ordinary things have value, and that sounds are at once useful and inherently meaningless.

Life, and sound and music, go on—in all kinds of weather.

But everything is worth a listen.
